It’s a tradition at iLEAD Schools to gather to celebrate our diversity and family culture. Please join us on Friday, November 22, at 10:30 a.m. for our annual Multicultural Feast Celebration! This favorite iLEAD event is a wonderful way for our families to gather to share a meal and learn more about the wonderfully diverse cultures represented in our school community.
- We are asking each family to bring a dish that represents their heritage, culture, or favorite Thanksgiving tradition. Food will be served in the Village (MPR) for a picnic on our grass field. Please see attached guidelines for food preparation and labeling. We suggest bringing enough to serve 15 to 20 people, and we ask that you bring the food in disposable containers if possible.
- To accommodate all learners and their families, we will serve food in shifts. The time frame for serving the meals is as follows:
- TK/K: 10:30 a.m.
- 1st grade: 10:30 a.m.
- 2nd grade: 11:00 a.m.
- 3rd-5th: 11:20 a.m.
- 6th and 7th: 11:45 a.m.
- After the learners and families are served, we will all gather outside to enjoy the food and good company.
- We would love to have assistance in setting up, serving, and cleanup. Please click here to sign up.
Last year was a huge success, as the majority of families not only shared their cultural dishes but came and celebrated with us. We are looking forward to another successful year, and we ask that all families sign up with your child’s facilitator for the dish you will be bringing. We’re excited to gather with all our families and celebrate the diversity on our campus.
