iLEAD Agua Dulce High School: Message from the Director

To Our Beloved Families and Learners
It was a week full of comfortable discomfort and excited frustration, to say the least!
We adventured into our third culture cultivation and this time on a whole new medium — grain spawn.
This four-day exploration challenged us to our core and I am glad to report that we persevered and got through it together!
As we step into the next two weeks, we have asked our learners to be prepared to embrace their autonomy with the agenda and at the same time remain flexible with our dynamic iLEAD team who have created truly A-W-E-S-O-M-E learning experiences for them leading into their Spring Break (April 18-25).
Our learners will begin their passion projects, use cutting-edge technology in the classroom to better understand DNA, be exposed to the PSATs, and collect data of how fungi grows in the new environment of grain spawn in mason jars.
Feel free to follow along here to see what our learners have in store each day, and please note aspects of the plan are subject to change based on how it goes. We wanted to ensure that there is a clearly articulated and transparent agenda, with many options and backup plans.
Sincerely,

Armine Movsisyan, Ed.D., MA, ASC
