We know that this year is quite different and may seem overwhelming looking at the schedules. Please know that we are all here to support you. Our first couple of weeks will focus on building relationships, so all of our learners feel safe to engage, step out of their comfort zones, and create friendships. We will also be focusing on cultural components, such as the 7 Habits, Character Lab, and Project-Based Learning. Most importantly, we will support our learners with their daily schedule, creating a routine and practicing good time-management skills, all of which will lead to a successful school year.
It is very important that our learners Zoom in on time for Morning Meetings and other times throughout the day that are in the pink boxes. Please thoroughly read the attached Distance Learning FAQs that detail the state mandated attendance and daily work requirements.
Lastly, don’t forget to join one of our School Information Meetings held by your child’s facilitator on their Zoom. All of the details regarding your child’s classroom will be presented to you.
We are also preparing for technology needs. If you need a Chromebook, please click here and fill out the agreement online (one per learner who needs a device). Once we have receive your signed agreement, you can come by the school office to pick up the device. Please remain in your vehicles, and we will bring the technology to your car. Note: We cannot issue a device if the online form was not completed.
If there are any questions, please feel free to contact Miss Nicole or Miss Sonia.
