As colleges and employers transition toward a more comprehensive approach to admissions and job applications, iLEAD Agua Dulce graduates will be well positioned to confidently enter college and career. That’s because at iLEAD Agua Dulce, all high schoolers will curate a digital portfolio that reflects growth and achievement of the school’s learner outcomes as well as their own individual learning paths.
At iLEAD Agua Dulce, high schoolers will be invited to complete a Career & Technical Education (CTE) pathway to develop essential skills for success in college and career, including problem-solving, project completion, research, college application, communication, time management, critical thinking, and more. Learners will experience work-based educational opportunities, hands-on projects on campus, internships, industry certifications, and ongoing college and career exploration and counseling.
All iLEAD Agua Dulce high schoolers will take Entrepreneurship 101 in 9th grade and will have the option to continue the three-year pathway for completion in the Entrepreneurship pathway or to explore other CTE pathways, such as Agriculture, Child Development, or Aerospace.
All iLEAD Agua Dulce high schoolers will experience personalized college and career exploration and will work closely with our team to create a graduation plan that aligns with their goals. Through this individualized approach, they will complete coursework during high school that is relevant and meaningful to them both now and in their successful future.
iLEAD Agua Dulce has applied to be an International Baccalaureate (IB) school.
iLEAD Agua Dulce has applied to be an International Baccalaureate (IB) school. To complement our CTE pathways, we hope to offer learners the opportunity to enter our IB Career-Related Programme (CP). The CP is a framework of international education that incorporates IB values into a unique program that prepares learners for higher education, apprenticeships, and careers. If we are accepted as an IB school, iLEAD Agua Dulce high schoolers will have the opportunity to complete the CP components in their junior and senior years.
